Compassion

Compassion

A Poem by lastchildborn

Compassion

I walk out into the world frighten
of what awakes me.
A nailed scared hand of compassion
gently I felt caressing my shoulder a
reminder he is with  me .
I ask him to open my eyes so I may
see his hands at  work .
I see his creation that  appears before
my  eyes a new morning sunrise  that
dives deep  into my heart to  realize his
love for me

Turn  away cloudy skies  from a child's
baseball game showing compassion
he removes the  sadden  frown .
Rain fall instead on golden  wheat
fields that turns a farmer fear  into
joy.
Clover patches for young lovers on
hands and knees in search for the
four leaf miracle .
A magical leaf that bestows the
honor to make a wish that will
come true.
I've seen bass leap from  beneath
the water to catch a dragonfly,
But in the eyes of a child  her
fairy with rainbow wings vanished.
God  compassion for her runs down
his face  .
I learned showing compassion to
others is like a morning sunrise ,
blue skies, a rainy day blessing an
hope and dreams for others.
Yes and even losing  something you
love Is all about compassion for others.
