Jacob

Jacob

A Poem by Harley (arbiter)
"

RIP

"
I don't know you
But you're my brother

The one of two
That's six feet under

I wish we could have met
You'd be awesome I bet

A great guy
Why'd you have to die

Today, it's been 22 years
It's still bringing mom to tears

She can't move on
Her dear child gone

When we visit your tombstone
I leave y'all alone

Just mother and son
Who's life had just begun

You're in a better place
Held in God's grace

                      Jacob L. Earls
                             RIP

I'm sorry about your loss, but you generated your emotions well through this poem. I like the flow and the feel of it. Keep writing, Harley.

Thank you
I'm sorry you never got to know him. All of the ones who would have been my brothers and sisters, the twins died in a miscarriage and the other one, the one who was going to be my baby brother, was a stillbirth. I miss them terribly, even though I've never met them.

This is really sweet. I don't know what it's like, but I kind of feel like I do, if that makes sense.
