Towel in the ClosetA Poem by Harley (arbiter)how we lose good friendships/relationships
We used to be so close
You'd hang with me more than most But now things have changed Your friends list rearranged I used to be on top of it Now I'm just a Towel in the Closet I was your shoulder to cry on You used to miss me when I was gone All your other "friends" came back And you remembered how I lack You hang with them now I'm not even a pal Even though none of them cared I remember the secrets that we shared Remember who was there Who you didn't want out of your hair We had a good bond, you and me But now it's gone completely I wish we still had it But now I'm just a Towel in the Closet © 2012 Harley (arbiter)Author's Note
