fake smile

when it all comes down there are only a very few i tell about my problems and this is about that situation

There's a smile behind every frown
And a frown behind every smile
One keeps you down
One stays for awhile

Hey buddy what's wrong?
You have a frown
And its so long
Why are you down?

Nothing friend
Just thinking
The truith I bend
Without blinking

I don't know why
I just do
Call it a lie
But I still won't tell you

I put on that smile
And everythings alright
Just for awhile
But not through the night

As long as they don't worry
It'll be alright
I listen to Journey
And I continue my fight

Only a few I tell
Somethings wrong
Because they aswell
Can keep me strong

Most my friends aren't helpfull
That's why I don't say
I make up some bull
And go through the day

I put on that smile
And everythings alright
Just for awhile
But not through the night

I cannot post my work in the write slot. I'm on a phone and using the moble site. I am very limited in what I can do. The only way for my poems to be in the right form is to place them in the wrong slot. I no longer have acces to a computer to use the right one. Thank you for your review though

Harley, you shouldn't always fake a smile. you should be how you feel. we all feel down sometimes and you can always come to me and talk if you need to.I'm here for ya. :) You know that, right? great poem, keep it up. :)

I can relate. And I want you to know that you can tell me what's wrong. Because you can trust me. I know everyone says it, and you can believe it or not believe it at your own will, but I do not lie to you when I say you are a good friend and You can tell me anything.
