The Innocenct FallA Poem by unexpectedsparkleFootsteps fall angrily upon the ground. Moonlight shines without a sound. Angry shouts, a scream, someone pleading A night breeze blows, calm, so misleading.
An assassin slinks into the night, he stole a life, a hope, a light. One that wasn't his to have, the innocent fell due to a dream gone bad.
Someone's wants grew out of hand, a hungry yearning, took the life of another man. © 2015 unexpectedsparkleReviews
