The Kite

A story type fun poem.

I saw today a kite,

hello-ed me with its beautiful site,

never was i ever allowed to enjoy a walk out from the woods,

as so, always wondered how fun it might've been to see the world,

but sadly that remained far a dream.

looked i, back at the kite,

torn it was from some parts,

i helped and taped and tucked it tight,

and flew it free in the skies,

to let it live and be bright.

So it went far away to a soaring height,

above the rivers in all the light,

i thought and thought about it all night.

To get distracted i took to work,

and noticed above the kite, joyful as firework,

overwhelmed i was to see.

it brought me back a box of delight,

and i was amazed with what i saw,

the visions i couldn't imagine all my life.

I was in the mood of writing something like this, a fictional story or something, so i did. Tell me if you like it?

These lines are so wonderfully described, as though hinting senses of hope here and there.
This poem is overall so adorable! It's so beautiful to see how you have appreciated a thing that most people recognize as trivial. just minor details that represent a thick notion of joy and happiness in everyone's life represented in the form of art is astounding. I adore this a ton!
