The inbetween

The inbetween

A Poem by underthemask

Trapped between two worlds just floating. I can see both sides but in neither do I fit. My body soul and mind are torn. It hurts to see all the pain. Happiest am I when he enters my space and floats along side of me. The place of not belonging. Of not quite being bad enough to fit in with the darkness but never being bright enough to fit in with the light. Because I am neither good nor bad. I am not black or white. I'm not even grey. I am every color of the rainbow swirling into one soul. Trapped between the worlds of light and dark. My colors vanish when I pick a side but my heart breaks to be alone.

Just another face in the crowd that no one would notice. However thats just my mask. The part of me I show to the world. No one would suspect I used to smoke crack or shoot heroin, that I would spend .. more..
