Voices

Voices

A Poem by Victoria Nakis

The voices,
Voices all around,
Shouting, yelling,
Making me scream, making me cry.
I want them to stop,
Want quiet to come.
Everyday the noise is all around,
The anger, the agony, the insanity,
Suffocating me, killing me inside.
When will it stop?
When will peace come?
One person can only take so much insanity;
Can only take so much anger.
Please, just make it end,
Stop it all, let me be.
The anger is too much for me,
I need to breathe again, I need to be free.

Victoria Nakis
I like descriptive words...thought they don't always work well for me.

About
My name is Victoria. I've lost touch with writing lately, but it's always been a passion. It's my favorite outlet when the feelings I have can't be contained. I'm not particularly good at poetry.. more..
