Supernova EmbersA Poem by Victoria NakisEmbers are sparking catching fire, holding flame. The fire is spreading, destroying, burning. The burning is all consuming, ever growing, immortal.
From this inside out it burns with vendetta. As if any moment it will combust, explode, become supernova. And turn to the ever engulfing pit that is a black hole.
Yet all the while sitting by as it happens, Almost welcoming the impending destruction, devastation, doom; Allowing it to seduce, and enjoying it in return. Receiving it with open arms, smiling, finally sealing fate with a fatal kiss. © 2013 Victoria NakisAuthor's Note
