SutāchairudoA Poem by CalypsoThis is a poem from a mother to her son. This morning you woke to welcomed the bright sun and blessed the weeds by your window. You confessed you’re love to the birds of the sky. You were marveled by the colors of your eye. God blessed me when he gave me you, my lovely Sutāchairudo. I tried not to cry when you do. I promise I’ll change for you. My perfect child, your soul is so tender and mild. God blessed me when he gave me you, my patient Sutāchairudo. You drew me a picture for my birthday. It was made with Crayon called Mac and Cheese. You say that it’s a yummy color. You say it will make you taller. God blessed me when he gave me you, my creative Sutāchairudo. There is no way you are a mistake. You are the light to my night. The light to my gloom. You’ll never cease to bloom. God blessed me when he gave me you,
my shining Sutāchairudo.
