Firefly Ghost

Firefly Ghost

A Poem by Calypso

For what is fair, to be aware

Carrying the shame

They had Earth, time to share

The founded, a dame

And what?

About to jump into the sea

On the edge, time exert

Your claws, sunken down in me

It hurts, it f*****g hurts

And this?

So far, so real

Blue background, music in a river

Guts and glory, our Achilles’ heel

The times, the story, deliver

And who?

The heart speaks what the mind fears. I like this minimalist style.
