Why make a plan?

Went out today with an excellent plan

Thought it would go smooth but didn't understand

The store and the Web really don't connect

What you see on the Site don't always expect

Looked at many Sites and had a route that would be quick

In the end my a*s  completely got kicked

Only looking for an item or two

Decide I'd get something that was new

One stop was all it should have took

But in eight or nine places I had to look

Just made me sit back and wonder why

I didn't just pay on the Net and let  a few days pass by

But now the project is under way

Hook up some light and it's time to play

On Christmas as kids the presents we'd adore

That's just what the book and new tools are for

Bought way more then what I would need

Because even as men on toys we still feed

At least some time was all that it  cost

So that the whole day wasn't all  together lost!

Picked everything up off the garage floor

Swept all the sand right out the door

Wish me luck with the challenge as it begins

Man against machine and I am hoping to Win!
