What can we really do?

What can we really do?

A Poem by unclecharlie

Look in the mirror and what have we got

Some what of a programed robot

Most of what we do is all about work

Waiting years for our own little quirk

The golden years or so they say

Money for us the Government has put away

Still when the budget they can't make fit

Who's the first ones they come to get

It's not the young or the working class

But more the older one they think  just sit on their a*s

Now we worked 25 years or maybe even more

Why should they shorten what we all worked for

Then they want to cut out some things that our kids need to learn

Not thinking that past us other countries will easily burn

Why should we give more money each single year

They don't know what's best that's perfectly clear

We borrow from Governments that with which we don't agree

Then bomb the weak so they can be just like you and me

It's not really our sort of Government that I hate

But why do we need so many people for the debate?

And if they really can't figure out what to do

Why don't they just ask people like me and you?

With this Government should we really stand

When they take from us just as much as they can?

In the wars our own people seem to die

But to take care of our own do they even try?

This the end of my long winded rant

Just to understand it most of us just really can't!
