The clock still moves slow

The clock still moves slow

A Poem by unclecharlie

The clock moves slow but the day seem to fly

Usually it's something we don't even see

Till you get older like me

The you stop and wonder where the days went

And how was all that time really spent

Do we look back with only a few regrets

Because we took a shot nut still lost the bet

Or do we sit back and wonder what we were thinking

When all life was about was the party and drinking

We have visions of what once used to be

Smile and wonder " Was that actually me?"

We'll my friends life has been busy and plenty of fun

Now it time to slow down and take it on the run

But there are only a few things I would change

Those would be the days I was totally out of range

Still the past is nothing but the days gone by

Couldn't change them even if we try

So just accept we did the best we could do

And with the future plans maybe we can now follow through

What ever your life was before

Shouldn't matter at all any more

so just be thankful for who and what you are today

It took all those years to make us this way!
