Didn't want to enrage

Didn't want to enrage

A Poem by unclecharlie

There was no one that I wanted to enrage

As on this life I turned a new page

It wasn't one that with the rest belonged

More for righting some of the things that had gone wrong

Not just the many choices that I had to debate

But for others it all happened simply by fate

At times no one  even knew the reasons for sure

Those days are smokey and some what of a blur

For now we are only voices on the phone

But we know 100% we're no longer alone

Can't explain the warmth we both must felt

A heart no longer broken now seemed to melt

Thought we'd seen every surprise that in this life could ever be

But what's happening now we expected never to see

So if happiness for ourselves only we can make

Then we can't regret any of the chances that we have to take

So what I did was put a bug into their ear

Now from each one ever day I will hear

For once I feel we all have our needed respect

The family unit we will no longer neglect

It's to bad that pages had to be turned

Before the simplest lesson's by us could be learned!
