I Pray and I Plead

I Pray and I Plead

A Poem by unclecharlie

No matter hard each time I try

I can't help but to still always cry

She's not the woman we once knew

And there's nothing at all that we can do

We walk in with plenty of Love to show

Listen to the stories as they continue to grow

I listen to the things she says she needs

A cell phone suitcase and home to pull the weeds

Where she's at we never know

We're in Florida but she see's snow

For the children all day she'll care

Not understanding that no ones there

Then in a fit she'll yell and scream

Ask me what the f*** that should mean

My Love for her isn't up for debate

God why torture her and make her wait

She was as pure as people can be

Her faith should be very plain to see

Been through more pain then anyone should need

Now to you God I pray and I plead

Reach out and lift her with your gentle hand

Take her away to the promise land

Please end the suffering she's now going through

Please Lord it's something no one else can do!
