Suddenly Full

Suddenly Full

A Poem by unclecharlie

What do you do when your plate is suddenly full

And there's not much that you can control

Not like it was up for debate

More like something that just couldn't wait

Promised to give her the best of care

And that when she needed us we would be there

Every day we pray for even just another little bit

We're plenty thankful for all that we can get

She seeing those people that are from the past

Telling us she's not ready to surrender and pass

Making sure there is love all around

She's at home with her feet on the ground

Every day I shed a new tear

Knowing the end is another  day near!
