It's still me

It's still me

A Poem by unclecharlie

I may not look like once before

But that shouldn't really matter any more

Graduated in the top of the class

Then in College easily passed

Got a job and became self supporting

Didn't realize that to someone I still need reporting

My job is great and I've proven what I can do

The outer me I guess they see  right threw

Never all the same things are we going to like

But I am the same man even on that bike

There's no reason to judge the length of my hair

Or because of the sound drive by as you stare

And by my jacket you may not be impressed

It's just a little leather far from the best

But just like you I work every day

And out of my check taxes I have to pay

I spend money and do my little part

Trying not to take to much to heart

But if what I drive makes who I am

In what year did this all begin

Because the relaxing ride on that piece of steel

Means more to me then how anyone else  feels !
