Hopes and dreams

Some people have a happy life it would seem
Or could it be they have forgotten how to dream
Tomorrow doesn't seem to be in their plan
They would rather rehearse the past as much as they can
Telling of the places they've been and all they have got
Is that in life what's supposed to mean a lot
And does this make them better then the person next door
Or wouldn't just helping others mean even more
How can they figure their are better then the rest
Through out this life do we all get the same test
Better then judging what we don't understand
Why not look for harmony in this crazy land
Many other places we're all willing to give aid
So why can't the bill to help own ever be paid
Could there ever be anything better to feel
Then a world looking for peace and to believe it's for real
Can't we all just try to give a little bit
And remember that in this world we all have to fit
So don't let your hopes and dreams go to waste
The thought  of freedom and peace we all need to taste
In this wold that's gone completely insane
People are starving and in many types of pain
A smile and a nod with do more then one would think
Just like even a playful little wink
Think about this through out your busy day
Maybe calmly we'll learn to play!
Then our fears may some time start to cease
Any we will witness a world full peace!
