A little tractor rideA Poem by unclecharlie
Decided to take my tractor for a spin
What a ride and where do I begin Tried to take off in 4th gear high It wouldn't go no matter how hard I'd try Next I went for 3rd gear low The damn thing still wouldn't go I hadn't drove a tractor in many a year And it sure wasn't working like my old John Deere Now finally on the road and moving along just fine But behind me there was one hell of a line Most really didn't seem to care Others shook their heads and gave an evil stare My little adventure last just a bit 15 miles is how far I needed to get Started off on nothing more then sand and dirt Then hit pavement and my a*s started to hurt But I smiled and waved at everyone that passed At no time was my tractor out classed Now home my hands a little bit cold But I have this little story that to you I've told So if you ever want just few miles of fun Get on the tractor that is if you have one The ride may be a little bit rough But everyone's waves and smiles will be enough To make you once again feel young at heart So go ahead give that tractor a start!
