A Free Gift

A Free Gift

A Poem by unclecharlie

Watching the wind as blows threw the trees

And the waves made by the strong breeze

There's a little chill that falls to our feet

As another awesome morning scene we get to greet

Didn't have to drive or even go away

Just look out the widow it's there every day

We have my coffee a little bit stout

A chair by the window so we can look out

This great moment no one can take away

This is the best start of any day

Never trying to figure out what it should mean

Because every morning is a picture we've never seen

It's a gift that comes to light

After we sleep each and every night

From the faith in God that we all hold dear

It's like Christmas every day of the year

Please Father forgive me of my sins

And thanks for the gifts that come to an end!
