What will they do?

What will they do?

A Poem by unclecharlie

They walk through life some what afraid
Trying to fix what the last generation made
More laws, governing, and freedoms slipping away
To much spending so more taxes they pay
No ideas on how the debts we loose
More spending is the plan the others seemed to choose
Yet now they all call it a shame
Pointing the finger and pushing the blame
Who really let it all get out of control
Is there really anyway we'll ever know
One day the young will look at this all too
How in the hell will they know what to do
Maybe use the same idea as when they came threw the door
Have no fear we can always borrow more
Then be long gone before it's ever repaid
Let someone else worry about the mess that they made
Simple economics this doesn't teach
But they still hope we believe in their little speech
They want us all to see their big heart
Yet they let the country slowly fall apart
Into the future they want us to go
Hoping that their true agenda we'll never know
All the moves are written out like a book
It's really to late by the time we get to look
So to the next generation we should apologize
Or maybe just speak out and stop believing all the lies
About the things their going to reform
Instead call them on BS that they preform
Then maybe the next ones won't continue this mistake
Hopefully they'll pay attention before it's really to late!
