Our Own Little Dance

Our Own Little Dance

A Poem by unclecharlie

Don't you think we should all be free

Just don't worry about or bother me

Please don't save from the evil drugs spell

Or from the life that to you may seem like hell

To make mistakes are what everyone will do

And at no time will they be better then you

We all float on our own little cloud

There's plenty of room no reason to crowd

On one thing I am sure on we all can agree

Life isn't ease and friendly face is nice to see

It may only be a few minutes that togther we spent

Laughed, joked , but into personal we never went

I wasn't the one you wanted to save

So we had a drink and tried to behave

Parted company late into night

And we had to have been one hell of a sight

Doing our own kind of little dance

Not giving anyone else a second glance

It would be nice to thank you just the same

But can't find the letters that spell out your name

If this you should happen to read

On that night there's no doubt we'd been freed!
