Where Serenity Begins

Where Serenity Begins

A Poem by unclecharlie

Going out on my bike just to clear my mind

Serenity is the only thing I am hoping to find

My mp3 is playing nice and loud

Won't hear the noise of any big  crowd

Paying attention to road and the lights

Other then that we're all alone on this night

It's like I've escapes and am finally free

Yet past the every day distractions I just can't see

Ease up on the throttle to see what I passed

Not even a shadow do I seem to cast

Now my mind is pretty much clear

Can actually breathe and think without any fear

What to do and how to begin

How can it be over and both of us win

But for now it's all pushed aside

I found serenity on this lonely ride

So if you see a stranger with a wierd smile or just a grin

They're probably right where serenity finally begins!
