Another Addiction

Another Addiction

A Poem by unclecharlie

There are addictions we can't understand
Some are always at hand
For a fix we need not look
It's in the desk top or note book
We close the lid and try to hide
Yet it's there at our side
People are there that we love and hate
To post on forums we just can't wait
After awhile it's no longer fun
A 12 step program hasn't yet begun
Just how to break free
Is something we just can't see
To end it all we finally choose
That some friends we must loose
Saying things that we may not mean
Because for months nothing else has been seen
Some day we may make amends
But first we must stop these trends
And remember there is more out there
Then this PC at which we stare
The rest of life we have forgotten
And at times been down right rotten
It's no different then a drug
Just another type of bug
Today I'll throw it out the door
Just don't need it any more
Hated by some I may be
But today I am Free!
