Feel The Heat

Feel The Heat

A Poem by unclecharlie

Feel the Heat

Arriving at about 7 o'clock
The place had just started to rock
Girls so hot you could feel the heat
Had to go in and get a seat
Watching as they strutted through door
My God can there still be more
Cameras flashing all around
A little paradise had I found
Now the Pimps started to show
Maybe this was the place where they all go
Short skirts that tightly fit
Wonder how close we could get
Slowly inches closer with each song
I'd be next to them before to long
Many people just sat and stared
They may have been a little scared
That didn't matter much to me
After all I am single and free
I took the news some what hard
Being told I needed to have a GAS CARD
Maybe the world is going down hill
What had happened to the trusty dollar bill
Into some pictures I would sneak
At those girls I had to peek
The cameras snapped and picture were took
Not one person gave me a second look
It sucked I had to leave that place
But at least there was a big smile on my face
Even though I was some what crushed
I got home and realized I'd been touched
The paper was folded nice and small
Saying you may not remember me at all
But this number with you I'll share
I noticed that at me you'd stare
Gas Card will come to pass
But friendship will always last
So just take a little chance
Call me so we can dance
You didn't seem to stay late
But the parting kiss was really great
To call she seemed to insist
I wonder if life can get better then this?
