Blind Date # 28

Blind Date # 28

A Poem by unclecharlie

Here we go with number 28
Had so much fun forgot it was a date
We went riding out in a canoe
Both completely soaked before it was through
Together we let out a little screech
Then laid back to dry on the beach
There we wrestled hugged and rolled around
Acting like kids is how we'd be found
I tried for ever to sneak in a kiss
She grabbed my head not wanting me to miss
The water came in getting us even more wet
We didn't care our lips had finally met
She pulled me to her nice and strong
On that kiss we lingered so long
Her lips had the sweetest of taste
Had to get more and acted in haste
Today I just sit back and dream
That day, that kiss, she had no idea what it would mean
Glad that the moment I didn't waste
Time has passed but her lips I still taste!
