Blind Date # 24

Blind Date # 24

A Poem by unclecharlie

She was an athlete need I say more,

We went places I'd never been before,

First to the park of a little run,

I couldn't keep up it wasn't fun,

At the batting cage next we'd be found,

I was embarrassed she beat me down,

To a skate park next we we're off,

She said I may need padding or something soft,

She did some tricks a twist in the air,

I could not do it but she didn't care,

Five hours later exercise complete,

Now a healthy lunch we're going to eat,

It was salad, fish and fruit that was there,

No pastries or sugar it just wasn't fair,

The date was over at a quarter til three,

She gave me a hug and snickered at me,

I guess the pain I couldn't hide,

My body hurt from deep down inside,

She said I did pretty good at any rate,

To call her if I could handle yet another date,

The day was different but not something to snub,

I soaked for hours in a hot tub,

Then a smile spread across my face,

Because I had fun in every single place,

No question if I'll call again,

There's no doubt I have a new friend!

Haha! Great stuff, being thrown around unexpectedly...but then suddenly in realisation, yeah...that was good :p

Great!
