Story Time

Story Time

A Poem by unclecharlie

At times they are quiet and in awe,
Others a giggle they'll try and stall,
No wanting to miss a single word,
Of a story many times they've heard,
All would lay or sit still,
The story to them was so real,
A fantasy that could only be seen,
In the mind of a childs dream,
In there eyes all can see,
They are part of the fantasy,
Being a dragon or maybe a witch,
And without notice they may switch,
Playing each role for just a bit,
So the feeling of each they can get,
It's all fun and care free,
That's just how the story should be,
each one in their own trance,
As with dwarfs or goblin's they dance,
Around them the story evolves,
And the riddles they will solve,
Then in their dreams they will pretend,
They will all sleep before the end!
