All Black

All Black

A Poem by unclecharlie

The days now are all black,
There is no chance of going back,
I thought that we were bound,
By the Love we both had found,
Then came the ripping of the heart,
She decided we should part,
To me a complete surprise,
Now the sun just won't rise,
No matter how much I pretend,
I lost my lover and my friend,
On her it may not be rough,
But I find myself not so tough,
In Love I give my all,
And it hurts when I fall,
I followed her like a lost pup,
Now not sure if I'll ever give up,
She may now be happy and free,
But there's not enough light for me to see,
She's the one I will always miss,
I long for her touch and her kiss,
I will swear to God above,
She's the only one that I'll ever love!
