She Couldn't Deal

She Couldn't Deal

A Poem by unclecharlie

A woman that couldn't deal,
With a love she need not steal,
Nothing at all went wrong,
But to find something made her feel strong,
So she opened all the mail,
And decided that it would tell,
So at it she would stare,
Then add in what wasn't there,
What she claimed there would be,
With her eyes she couldn't see,
To be loved she'd give no thanks,
Instead she would fill in the blanks,
With how she thought it went,
Wasted time was all she spent,
Throwing A true love out the door,
Because real love she couldn't handle any more,
Even though she could find no excuse,
She had to end it with some form of abuse,
Scared of the face to face,
So it was done in an e-mail space,
She'd kicked men around before,
But this one came right through the door,
Tough as she tried to be,
She was weak he could see,
Laughing as he drove away,
Life wasn't meant to be this way,
So he decided to just bow out,
At no one did he need to shout,
Nor would he fall apart,
No woman could break his heart,
Sorry that it came to and end
Lost the best lover and best friend,
They were great when combined,
A better partner neither will ever find,
She seems cold and doesn't care,
But to stop loving her he wouldn't dare,
For him one thing is for sure,
His heart will always belong to her!
