Putty in her hand

Putty in her hand

A Poem by unclecharlie

I am like putty she tries to mold,
I'll be a better person so I am told,
It all does seem right,
But My God I can't change over night,
The process isn't all that slow,
She gives direction and that's where I go,
At times I can read her like a book,
I know what's next just by the look,
In nothing am I rushed,
And everything has been discussed,
It's mutual choices at there best,
On our future it will rest,
She has showed me many a door,
That I felt were locked before,
Teaching me what it really means to care,
Something that I once couldn't share,
It's about finding the real me,
A person that before I couldn't see,
This all comes from her heart,
And with this woman I'll never part,
She is the best friend I've ever had,
God brought her to me and I'm sure Glad
