Nothing she would expect

Nothing she would expect

A Poem by unclecharlie

There's nothing that she will expect,
But I serve her breakfast on the deck,
Scrambled eggs, coffee and toast,
The things she likes the most,
Her look says she doesn't understand,
As I put the Newspaper in her hand,
To explain I will try,
This is I love you not Good Bye,
At me she looks up,
As I fill her coffee cup,
The morning is clear and bright,
We made Love all through the night,
The air is cool with a breeze,
It's her once again I want to please,
There's no need to say a word,
It's all things she has already heard,
She knows just what I mean,
When I treat he like a Queen,
I'll clean up when she's done,
For me she's the only one,
To her all my love I'll give,
For as long as I live,
In eternity I will wait,
She'll join me that's our fate,
I do hope to never die,
To her I couldn't say Good Bye!
