They Slip Away

They Slip Away

A Poem by unclecharlie

At times the best ones just slip away,
And all we can do is pray,
That God will turn things around,
So once again in my arms she will be found,
That true Love won't be missed,
With the woman that I can't resist,
Both with demons from the past,
But still felt that Love would last,
Born from a different breed,
More then Love they would need,
Communicating in a different way,
Against them this would play,
There is no one to blame,
They love each other just the same,
Their lives ran parallel,
That before they couldn't tell,
Now they need to close the gap,
He needs her back ASAP,
Nothing could be more true,
The he's hopelessly in Love with you!
