That Rose

That Rose

A Poem by unclecharlie

I saw a rose the other day,

It smiled at me as if to say,

Hurry and pick me please,

Because your pain I can ease,

I simply walked on by,

To pick that rose I didn't try,

Next time I came along,

I could swear that rose sang a song,

The rose I bent down and picked,

My pain was gone and my finger pricked,

Crazy I maybe,

But that rose spoke to me!
