A Child Abused

A child that is abused every day,
To them what would you say,
Don't worry and be strong,
You'll grow up before to long,
Don't let it get you down,
Others go through worse I have found,
Or just get a good nights sleep tonight,
Maybe tomorrow things will be alright,
Or do you just walk on by,
To help or understand you don't even try,
Maybe someone should get into the mix,
And their life try to fix,
Is that maybe more then you are willing to do,
Because nothing like that ever happened to you,
What about a mother so wrapped up in her new man,
That what he's doing she can't understand,
She doesn't believe the words from the kid,
That explains just what he did,
The kids have no where else to turn,
What is the lesson they now learn,
How can anyone say they have a heart,
If in fixing the problem they won't take a part,
Are they to worried about recognition,
To help children with life in this condition,
Are the kids better of in Foster care,
Can they really find a role model there,
These are just words for thought,
You may not believe it but it happens a lot!
