I had no idea what to do,
After all the others I've been through,
There had been fun and some fits,
I was about ready to call it quits,
I had chosen to isolate,
And for a time to just wait,
Then her picture was what I'd seen,
On my Computer screen,
I didn't like it I would pretend,
Yet an E-mail I did send,
Rejection is what I'd expect,
Surly I wasn't one she'd select,
Now a little paranoid,
So my e-mail I'd avoid,
Then one day I got brave,
And checked all the ones that were saved,
My box was as full as could be,
Many times she answered me,
Deciding to take a chance,
I invited her to dance,
Had to be something slow,
That's the only dance that I know,
By surprise I was caught,
She was waiting in the parking lot,
We went inside to dine,
Shared a bottle of good wine,
Then she told me the facts,
I could dance if I'd relax,
Everything went so right,
We danced late into the night,
Parting with a great kiss,
Now it's her that I miss,
Maybe this was just fate,
She's the one for now that I date!
