Blind Date # 20

Blind Date # 20

A Poem by unclecharlie

This was blind date # 20,
And fun we had plenty,
Dinner and drinks at the lodge,
Then we went to my garage,
Showed her the car I'd started to build,
And off her coat she quickly peeled,
Asking for a screw driver and wrench,
To help she did commence,
Her hands were greasy and that was fine,
She installed the brake line,
It was love in my shop,
As we both worked non stop,
Next we went to watch TV,
But she was all that I could see,
We both laid back in the chair,
A Lazy Boy lots of room there,
Off to sleep we both went,
No doubt we were spent,
Then the morning we'd slowly greet,
Had coffee and a bit to eat,
Asked next what she wanted to do,
Her answer was spend more time with you,
The perfect woman it would seem,
Then I woke from my dream!
