Blind Date # 13

Blind Date # 13

A Poem by unclecharlie

Blind Date 13,
Boy was that girl mean,
She licked her thumb to get something off my face,
Then made sure every hair was in place,
Once again I started the car,
Then came seat belt on or we won't go far,
Now time to order food,
She sat so close it was rude,
The waitress came and she didn't like what I said,
So she smacked the back of my head,
To get served didn't take long,
She was mad the coffee wasn't strong,
Next she told me I couldn't drive,
To get to the movie she wanted to survive,
As the movie began to show,
I nodded off wouldn't you know,
I thought I heard thunder clap,
But it was the back off my seat from her slap,
Now worried and scared as hell,
To the restroom is the story I'd tell,
Out to the car as fast as I can run,
This date wasn't at all any fun,
Now at home behind a looked door,
I was safe she couldn't slap any more!
