Blind Date # 12

Blind Date # 12

A Poem by unclecharlie

On this one I will try and not dwell,
Because everything went really swell,
She picked me up in her Lincoln,
Hugged and Kissed me without even blinking,
All the plans she already made,
We got going as the sun started to fade,
Took me to a beach that was remote,
Led me onto her boat,
That is where we sat and ate,
Then grabbed some poles and some bait,
No orders did she bark,
We just fished as it got dark,
Sipping on a glass of wine,
The evening was going fine,
The she told me about the master suite,
And that in 15 minutes that's where we'd meet,
I walked in nice and slow,
The lights were down really low,
Animal instincts we now fed,
Then snuggled into bed,
Slept on through the night,
I was up ate first light,
For the day we would float,
Just her and me on this boat,
An Island we didn't see,
Or we'd have abandoned ship her and me!
