Blind Date # 7

Blind Date # 7

A Poem by unclecharlie

Blind Date # 7,
I was just about in heaven,
For me she decided to cook,
I could tell it was good with just one look,
We went to a concert out in the open air,
We drank some beer as at the the band we'd stare,
Then we went to an arcade,
You'd never believe the points we made,
She is beautiful and fun,
All wrapped up in one,
I held her hand as we walked done the street,
Talking to the people we'd meet,
We sat and watched the bikes and people go by,
Never asking ourselves why,
To each other we can relate,
We stayed awake and slept late,
It was a weekend event,
That only from heaven could be sent,
There is really no debate,
I can't wait for the next date!
