On My A*s

On My A*s

On My A*s

Sitting back on my a*s,
Got a bottle of beer and some grass,
The stage is empty but nothing to fear,
It won't be long before we hear,
Songs from back in the past,
To show why the 60's were such a blast,
Let go and have a little fun,
Just get loose we all know how it's done,
It's about music, family and friends,
This was how a true community begins,
It  seems to have been lost over the years,
Makes me sad and shed a few tears,
Used to be the neighbors truck we'd unload,
Now we drive by when they are stuck on the road,
We once helped the elderly out,
But that is something else we forgot all about,
It was once mostly one for all,
Now a service is the one that we call,
It's still not about what others can give,
More about if we were all friends how great we could live,
Yet this music will take me back,
And help me remember some of what we now lack,
Go ahead just sit on your a*s,
We'll share a bottle of beer and some grass!

Nicely said. What a nice, but sad reflection on the past. It is so sad how things have changed. You've captured that emotion very well. Nice work. Makes me want to go bond with the human race. Thanks.
