I've done it again

I've done it again

A Poem by unclecharlie

Here I go once again,
Lost but thought I'd win,
Got beer a in front of me,
A bottle of sleeping pills I can see,
I've had more then enough to drink,
The end is easy many would think,
Yet the pills I nudge around,
The courage I haven't found,
It isn't as easy as they say,
I pick them up then push them away,
They are kind of pretty in their white and blue,
How many would it take for me to be through,
I am hurt but not bleeding,
A fucked up life I sure am leading,
Once again I seem to blunder,
Why I can only sit wonder,
I'd give up if I can,
But I am not that strong of a man,
Instead I can only sit and debate,
Sober up and it to late,
Some may think I am weak,
But sanity is what I seek!
