In Her Words

In Her Words

A Poem by unclecharlie

At times not sure what to think,
But in her words Life doesn’t stink,
She opens doors that I’ve never seen,
Showing me what life should mean,
Serious we are often not,
But in the moment we can get caught,
Always a smile when we talk,
We hold hands when we walk,
Not afraid to communicate,
That could be what makes it great,
One activity we leave behind,
But another we always seem to find,
At her some times I stare,
I know there’s some sugar there,
There is magic when we kiss,
When we’re apart it’s her I miss,
Like a child that doesn’t know what to do,
Every day I think about you,
There is so much that I feel,
Could it be a dream or is it real,
At times not sure what to think,
But in her words Life Doesn’t Stink!
