Young at Heart

Young at Heart

A Poem by unclecharlie

Is it Love or is it lust,
And our heart should we trust,
Like a picture she's standing there,
The sun sparkling in her hair,
She smiles as if to flirt,
An easy breeze moves her shirt,
Wearing sandals and painted toes,
To those beautiful legs her body flows,
Standing as if stuck in time,
How could it be that she's all mine,
As if the lottery I may have hit,
Better then this could it ever get,
Yet nothing says that I have won,
Or even that I am her only one,
Like a High School kid in heat,
I can't wait til once again we meet,
The way I try to pave,
Burning up the cellular air waves

Feeling very young at heart,
Sure seems like a great start,
So now we take it nice and slow,
Just to see where this may go,
Could my thoughts be some what hazy,
Maybe I am just plain crazy,
What ever it is I don't really care,
If there is a Heaven I'm surely there!
