Window of opportunity

Window of opportunity

A Poem by unclecharlie

The windows open and no ones at the door,
A Beer and a fatty like so many nights before,
The day was rough did the best that you could,
Just like gramps said that you should,
Let it all just slip off your back,
Pick up the bottle and pop off the cap
Strip down to your boxers feet on the desk,
The evening will get better with what you select,
Spark it up take a little puff,
It won’t take much one may be enough,
Life would be prefect if she was here,
But instead I sip on this beer,
Even though she’s few miles away,
In my thoughts she will always stay,
Now relaxed and feeling really great,
For her to call no need to wait,
I will dial the phone like never before,
What an awesome voice I need to hear more,
Dancing in the rain both of us could see,
But would she really get wet me,
Time and the future are all that can tell,
But I think we fit together really well!
