Traveler's

Traveler's

A Poem by unclecharlie

Finally figured out why things didn't last,
We knew each other in a life that's past,
All the trials that new Lover's do,
Once before we already went through,
Now in this the new life we generate,
To be in Love twice is to much fate,
Even though our paths did cross,
This time at Love we have lost,
Soul mates as it would seem,
But in a life that's now just a dream,
Still on the parallel ride,
Every minute your by my side,
In pain from our ordeal,
Because no matter what I love you still,
Yet now I must accept,
That as travelers each life can't be kept,
The lives we may pick and choose,
But never knowing what we'll win or lose,
I've felt your Love once before,
How can I expect any more,
I do hope in another life we will meet,
And another chance on Love we both will greet,
Harder next time I will try,
But I know for now I must say Good Bye!
