Surfing for Love

Surfing for Love

A Poem by unclecharlie

On the Internet I travel around,
Looking for the woman not yet found,
All the sites want me to pay,
But that's prostitution I'd have to say,
They say I can contact her now,
I press the button to see how,
They say it's not at all hard,
Just give us the number on your credit card,
For a month you can chat and e-mail,
it's only $ 29.99 what the hell,
To know it all there's no way we can,
who's on the other end a woman or man,
They type up all that we want to hear,
Trying to be sure we'll have no fear,
They drop hints and taunting at your feet,
Then in another state they want to meet,
Are we desperate or just insane,
Is it really possible that a Love we'll gain,
And if they agree to a date,
will they show up or all night will we wait,
The down side is all I can see,
Because I think LOVE should be free!
