A Wink

A Wink

A Poem by unclecharlie

She gives just a little wink,
It's to me so I think,
To approach her I mat try,
Even though I am a bit shy,
Now the courage I have finally got,
Yet where she's at I know not,
To the bar I return next week,
Finding her is all that I seek,
I look around but she's not there,
So at the beer I just stare,
Stopping for breakfast the next day,
To help get me on my way,
The to my total surprise,
She's right there before my eye's,
Before I knew it she took a seat,
Saying it's a pleasure that we finally meet,
We ate with a little small talk,
She grabbed my are as out we'd walk,
No way to explain this event,
Except maybe it was heaven sent,
To find her I am glad that I tried,
She's now forever by my side,
This is the ending for which we all wish,
Right along with the first gentle Kiss!
