Tight RopeA Poem by KeelyJane
Her calloused feet balanced
on hope and despair Her heart paper made Rip and Tear Hanging by her chest rope Heart strings dangled Tied up and twisted Knots tangled Tip toeing on a wire with edges frayed Unraveling the weave the braid she made Weak may be her reason Strong be her twine A little slack may be in order Your noose not mine Shes strung on a promise Like a pearl strung on a string Bound by the golden rope of a wedding ring Her fibers are fine Her strength is in tweed Everything on the line A tight rope indeed © 2019 KeelyJaneReviews
